About Cranes Mill Park

Dramatic sunrises to the east of the park across Canyon Lake and sunsets on the western side of the park behind the Guadalupe River make this an unforgettable location.

Cranes Mill Park is a well-maintained campground with spacious RV sites, clean restrooms, and a peaceful atmosphere, ideal for a quiet getaway. Camped at site #19. Our 2nd trip to Cranes Mill Park. Excellent get away from hectic, high demanding job. Greatly enjoyed our get away to calm days and peaceful nights. We will be back.

Crane Mill park is a great COE park. Water and Electric work exactly as expected. The dump station on the way out works well, even for our 40' MH and towed jeep to fit. Roads and site surfaces are smooth.

Alas, the lake level was very low this year, but still a nice venue to relax for a week or so. Easy to get to local shopping and services, we had a great time, one week, Nov 2023.

Great park and amenities. Volunteer are very much sticklers for the rules. I believe gate should not be closed at 9:00 pm. A little inconvenient if you take in a concert at Greene Hall.

Always great camping at Crane's Mill. Wish they had Wi-Fi though. Would be willing to pay extra for the convenience.

Loved this campground. The camp hosts were so friendly but no nonsense on keeping the grounds safe, enjoyable and fantastically clean. Being able to rely on quiet hours is great, especially when traveling across country and depending on sleep. Great view of lake from every site. We’ll definitely be back!

We visit this park twice a year for many reasons:

1. Cleanliness of park
2. Friendliness of Park Hosts

This is one of our favorite parks. The park is small, quiet and great for a little quiet time visit away from home. Gate Attendants ( Doug and Joyce Phillips) are such awesome people. Helpful and friendly.
