Park host was very specific om all details, and times.
Thew was down about 30 ft, with no real trails to the water. Spoke with a few fellow campers and they this was a great area to tour the Texas Hill country.

We love Cranes Mill. Site 14 is our favorite spot. Plenty of room between sites, great covered picnic tables, and friendly gate staff. While it is a small park there are many things in the area to do. If you are lucky enough you may spot a glimpse of the wildlife in the area (deer, fox, birds).

Decided to do a weekend getaway for our family the first weekend in April. Restrooms were clean with no issues and the campsite was well maintained.
Due to low lake levels fishing wasn't much of an option, but we still had a great time exploring and chilling at our campsite.

Friendly staff that help you get booked in and answer any questions you have. Well maintained sites, grass cut water and power working ect. Very affordable rates as well. Even has showers with actual hot water.

Cons- Not much to do. No working fishing pier to fish off of. Photos are website show water a lot higher than it really is.
Pros- clean and flat sites.
