Great campground. Slight leveling needed. Quiet and peaceful area. Town of Cleveland is about 18 mi away. Used the Walgreens for getting our mail through Fedx. Town has most needed stores and eateries if needed. The town of Coldspring has stores also for needed items and is closer.
Area has a well maintained beach. We would stay again. Cell coverage isn't the best at 1-2 bars on AT&T and poor OTA TV.
14 day max stay. Part of the Sam Houston National Forest.

Great Park! Nice level site. Full Hookups and nice bike trail for us to ride our ebikes. The only downside (or blessing if you’re wanting to get away from it all) is that the cell signal was not that great. We will definitely be back.

We love coming here to relax and unwind from the hussle and bussle of Houston. Campsites are spaced out to where you have your own private slice of heaven under the tall pine trees. Sites are easy to back into, clean facilities.
