Despite the cold weather and early Sunday morning rain, I had a fantastic time at Double Lakes. The area was neat and clean and really quiet. Other campers were friendly but not bothersome. The relaxation was just what I needed.

Double Lake is my FAVORITE campground in the area and now I can share it with my children! Bathrooms are clean and beautiful, grounds are stunning, and there are so many campsites with great lake views. I can't wait to return!

It’s a lovely little campground. The sites are in the midst of majestic pine trees, and the little lake is pretty. The campground hosts are very helpful, and the access to the Lone Star Hiking Trail is terrific. I highly recommend taking a long hike in the forest!

Wonderful park to camp, hike, bike. Lake is smaller but place to swim and of course fish. Only 1 stall & 1 shower in campground bathrooms which was a bit disappointing but it was clean. Trails are great and easy to get turned around if you phone as a bad GPS (trail maps not very reliable). We will stay here again.
