The biggest positives were that it was quiet and the sites were big. However, the sites were not kept up. The grass was tall and the chiggars were plentiful.
The gate was manned, which surprised us, but we were not given a map of the park and the signage to the sites was lacking. This was our first visit to this park and since this camping area was on the backside of the park, it was a challenge to find our spot.
We knew the lake was low and the swimming area was completely dry but we were not prepared for the number of water moccasins that were present. Overall, we won't be back.

Park is a little neglected in terms of upkeep but it is huge, plenty of space and plenty of open slots. We literally had loop 4 to ourselves. Lake is low, but still serene. We will be back.

Beautiful awesome camp ground , just needs a little more upkeep especially with low hanging branches that could damage RV roofs and wore our boards on the fishing docks that could be a safety issue especially wheelchair accessibility. Hope to see improvements in maintenance.
