What Guests Are Saying
Lakeside Park is highly praised for its beautiful, spacious campsites shaded by large oak trees and abundant wildlife, including deer. Visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a preferred destination for camping. However, some reviewers noted issues with tall grass, dated bathrooms, and occasional maintenance concerns, but these did not significantly detract from their overall positive experiences.

Hord's Creek is an awesome place to visit. The grounds are very well manicured, abundance of shade trees and beautiful scenery. We stayed 3 nights at the campgrounds and have decided this will be our go to place.

The Park Attendants are all very cordial, the campsites are well kept. Hords Creek Lakeside is really a pleasant place to stay. It is very quiet and laid back and it seems to be a well-kept secret. We will continue to stay there for many years to come.

We have been coming to this park since we were young children and still love it as older adults. Our children and grandchildren love it as much as we do. So many memories have been made here and plan on making more as well. This park is always beautiful and well maintained.
