What Guests Are Saying
Lakeside Park is highly praised for its beautiful, spacious campsites shaded by large oak trees and abundant wildlife, including deer. Visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a preferred destination for camping. However, some reviewers noted issues with tall grass, dated bathrooms, and occasional maintenance concerns, but these did not significantly detract from their overall positive experiences.

Awesome camp site with shade over the picnic table and grill area. Water and electric conveniently located. I tent camped but the site was designed to easily back into with plenty of clearance on both sides. The site was clean and well maintained. The camp host and gate employees were very friendly. The restrooms were clean. The showers were hot and refreshing. The lake was low but fishing was still enjoyable. A small herd of mule deer grazed in the field behind my campsite and did care about my presence. An owl was hunting during the night. The stars wee awesome and the Milky Way was faintly visible.
