Summary

Lakeside Park is highly praised for its beautiful, spacious campsites shaded by large oak trees and abundant wildlife, including deer. Visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a preferred destination for camping. However, some reviewers noted issues with tall grass, dated bathrooms, and occasional maintenance concerns, but these did not significantly detract from their overall positive experiences.

Park was well maintained, quiet, some sites have full hook-ups. Water level was low when we visited, some trash around the shore line. Enjoyed visiting San Antonio's River Walk and The Cave Without A Name near Boerne. Enjoyed going for walks around the park and deer watching.
