Lakeside Park is highly praised for its beautiful, spacious campsites shaded by large oak trees and abundant wildlife, including deer. Visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a preferred destination for camping. However, some reviewers noted issues with tall grass, dated bathrooms, and occasional maintenance concerns, but these did not significantly detract from their overall positive experiences.

My husband and I really enjoyed our time despite the cold. Lots of deer and Birds to watch. Campground very spacious and very quiet. Our views were beautiful. Will definitely come back.

Nice park… the showers need to be fixed so you don’t need to stand so close to the wall for the water to stay on…
