What Guests Are Saying
Lakeside Park is highly praised for its beautiful, spacious campsites shaded by large oak trees and abundant wildlife, including deer. Visitors appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities, and the peaceful atmosphere, making it a preferred destination for camping. However, some reviewers noted issues with tall grass, dated bathrooms, and occasional maintenance concerns, but these did not significantly detract from their overall positive experiences.

We loved our first time out at Hord's Creek. This is a great family/child friendly place. It was a peaceful and relaxing experience. We look forward to camping many more times and having our children continue their love for fishing.

Great site. Wished there would have been a spot available over the weekend, even a dry camping spot. Lake was beautiful. If in the area again will definitely stay again

Love camping here! I did find my spot challenging to park in! Was uphill and had a curve in it! Took several pull ups and retry, to get in the spot! Also no cell service at our campsite! But love this park!
