Camp Cold Springs

We love taking our RV to Camp Cold Springs, the staff is very friendly. We have never had a problem when we go. The river and area is always clean. We are already planning our next trip there.

10/10 experience super good communication and hospitality felt very welcomed. Answered everyone of my annoying questions with a smile, will definitely be coming back! Very nice secluded swimming hole with a giant rock to jump off. Very clean restrooms and they stay warm even during cold nights

We had a fantastic time at Cold Spring Campground and will definitely be making this our go to spot for the Frio in the summer. The sites are nice and shaded too which will be really helpful in the Texas summer. The managers are super helpful and kind. The grounds were immaculate with spacious sites. The kids loved jumping off of big rock even in the 70° weather 🥶 Great campground!

If the previous owners were a much better bunch than current owners/ management is I would have love to meet them and stay for a while:)
The only thing missing from current management / experience was a parting gift cause absolutely everything else was spot on spectacular ......bright starry night sky's , sounds of nature all around , pet friendly and would image a very kid friendly swimming hole. Once again no shortage of a clean relaxing friendly long/short weekend stay conveniently located but yet not too close to town "Leakey" for extra goodies run if needed.
An all around good place to get away from the rat race or just recharge your batteries and or reconnect with your love ones

Our stay at Camp Cold Springs was our first and won't be our last. The hosts were so kind, our camping spot had everything we needed and the river was the icing on the cake. Even with the river low, Camp Cold Springs area retains pretty deep water where my kids and us parents could swim and jump from the rocks. An added bonus I wasn't expecting was the pickle ball court! Having a family time activity was so fun and such a great addition to the park!
