Pitmaster RV Park

We had the absolute best time visiting this rv park! It was beyond clean, and the amenities were better than we could have hoped for. Shelly at the front office was one of the nicest humans we have ever met! She really made our stay wonderful. We are already planning our next trip! 1000000/10 recommend!!!

Last minute decision to rent a trailer for two nights. We’ve never stayed here but it wasn’t far from where our family was staying so we took a chance. The trailer was cozy and clean, could have used more pans for cooking but I also could have verified that before booking. Our kids loved the back room with three beds and a their own sitting area. The AC worked great too. We did have a couple of issues: cold water due to an empty propane tank that was replaced immediately upon letting the office know and the weather which was completely out of their control. We could have taken advantage of their large and well kept restrooms/showers building but the rain kept us from doing so. The next morning we did check them out and they were right, so spacious and so clean! Definitely would have used them for day 2. We ended up leaving after one night because a big storm was coming in and we didn’t want to be stranded. Grace and Chad were so kind and helpful with remedying the issues we brought to their attention. It’s a cool spot. Quiet, bbq area, cool fire pits for hanging out, pickleball court, little baseball diamond and even a dog washing station. If the weather would have allowed, all of those amenities could have made for an extra great stay. Even though we had some hiccups, their hospitality and dedication to maintaining the reputation of their business is enough to bring us back again.

We had a great time at the Pitmasters RV Park we had a tent spot. We also rented a gas/pellet grill which was plugged in a ready to use when we arrived. Also was greeted by the owners when we checked in they were very friendly. The restrooms and showers were absolutely gorgeous and clean. We were also welcomed to come enjoy hamburger sliders, hotdogs and chips down at the common area for the family which were amazing. They had picnic tables and areas for bonfires and roasting smores. We were also allowed to pop our fireworks and had a blast doing so. It was a great time to celebrate the 4th after a day at the Frio Rio floating the river. They made it comfortable and we enjoyed our stay and will be back next time. The views of the sunrise and sunset were great as well. We also bought several BBQ spices and rubs at the store which was a nice contribute to being there. Also was fast to respond via email with any questions or concerns. Highly recommend Pitmaster RV Park!

It's only 8 minutes away from Garner State Park, so you get the perfect quiet getaway while still being right next to all the action. The absolute highlight of our stay was the management team-they actually made burgers and hotdogs for guests during our trip, which was such an awesome, personal touch. The grounds are incredibly clean and well-kept.

Just a quick heads-up for pet owners: there are a lot of stickers/spurs on the ground in the areas, so walking a dog can be a bit tough. But they do have an awesome off-leash dog park that is totally sticker-free! The park is clean, peaceful, and the hospitality is top-notch. We'll absolutely be returning!

I stayed in the covered wagon at the end of a work trip. It was a great way to get the stress out before going home. Shelly was sooo friendly and great to work with. The bathrooms and campground were very clean. Beautiful location and only 8 miles from Garner State Park. I would absolutely stay here again!
