Camp Margaritaville RV Resort Crystal Beach, Texas

I had the pleasure of spending my pre-birthday weekend at Margaritaville in Crystal Beach, and what a great weekend it was!
Starting things off with a margarita at check-in was definitely a sign we were in the right place. The pool and pool staff were amazing as always, and I have to give credit where it’s due—they make a really good rum punch!
But the highlight of our experience was meeting Daniel, one of the managers. My son uses a wheelchair, and Daniel went out of his way to help us find seating where my son could comfortably get to and truly enjoy the concert. What impressed me most was that Daniel didn’t make it feel like an inconvenience or just something he had to do. He genuinely wanted to help, and he was simply a great guy to talk to.
Margaritaville definitely has a good one with Daniel.
In large companies, leadership training and customer service expectations don’t always make it all the way down to where the customer actually feels them. This weekend, we felt it. That says a lot about Daniel and the entire team.
Thank you, Daniel, and thank you to the entire Margaritaville Crystal Beach staff for making my pre-birthday weekend such a fantastic one. We will definitely be back!

This is the best resort, hands down, on the Gulf Coast. It’s perfect for couples/friends/families. Has something for everyone! As a parent, I wouldn’t stay on the island anymore after staying at Margaritaville in Bolivar. The pools are clean, the green space is perfect for kids (so much to do)…volleyball, Gaga ball, pillow jump, etc. You can relax with a drink and listen to live music while still being able to see your kids safely play nearby. It’s just the best. Don’t sleep on this one!

The campsites are very good. They are level and the hookups are placed proper. The only complaint is the ants are very aggressive. They need to put down some fire ant killer. Bring Raid because they will come into your coach. The restaurant, the concert venues and store are great. Now for the pool! Could not have been more disappointed. One of the main reasons you go here is the pool. Whoever the pool company is needs to be fired. It was dirty and had hair floating all over it. The water was cloudy and I would not put your face in it. We did not even want to go back in that water after our 1st experience. The pool bar and staff were great, just a terrible experience with the pool itself. They do have a small dog park but need a couple more due to the camp size. For the price and my pool experience, there are as good or better options across the ferry.

This is a great venue for everyone. The staff and security are wonderful keeping an eye on things! The rooms are clean. The pool is great place to let the kids run free, and at the bounce blob! The restaurant has excellent food. The music venue is the main attraction. Got to see Wade Bowen and it was a great show, the people were having fun! It was a great night at Margaritaville. We stayed in Bungalow K07 for 6 nights! We had our grandkids with us (age 7 and 13) and we all had a wonderful vacation. We rented a golf cart which I highly recommended. The pool/bar staff was amazing!! In fact, all the staff we encountered on the property were kind, friendly, and excellent! Clint was especially helpful with our malfunctioning door lock. He came quickly!!

Our grandkids were so excited about the GaGa ball pits! They loved the pool too!

Suggestions:
1. The kitchen needs cereal bowls, pitcher (for tea), and a toaster.
2. A garden hose is needed. If it was attached to one of the faucets, we could easily spray off after trips to the beach.
3. The lock on our door malfunctioned several times due to the humidity. Clint was amazing and came quickly to help us. He is awesome!!
