TURTLE POND CAMPGROUND

I recently had the pleasure of discovering Turtle Pond Campground and RV Park. Despite being under construction, this campground has already captured my heart with its spaciousness, serene fishing pond, and convenient amenities.

Nestled just off I-30, Turtle Pond Campground is conveniently located only an hour east of Dallas, making it an ideal getaway for both locals and travelers seeking a peaceful retreat. As you enter the campground, you'll immediately notice the vast amount of space available. Whether you prefer a cozy spot for your RV or a shaded area for your tent, Turtle Pond Campground offers generous plots to accommodate campers of all sizes.

One of the highlights of Turtle Pond Campground is undoubtedly the fishing pond. This pond offers a haven for nature enthusiasts. Spend a leisurely afternoon casting your line, appreciating the gentle breeze, and relishing the peaceful ambiance. The fishing pond is the perfect place to unwind and reconnect with nature, providing a sense of serenity that is truly unmatched.

They have taken great care to ensure that campers can still enjoy a peaceful atmosphere despite the ongoing work. The construction noise is kept to a minimum, allowing for restful nights and a chance to fully appreciate the natural beauty that surrounds the campground.

Turtle Pond Campground and RV Park is a hidden gem in the making. Although it is still undergoing construction, the dedication of the management team shines through, and I have no doubt that the final result will be nothing short of exceptional. If you're looking for a serene camping experience just an hour east of Dallas, Turtle Pond Campground is the perfect choice.

We had a great experience at the RV park. We had a last minute stop between campsites while going to see family in Dallas. New site and they have the RV life in mind when building this site. A NEW single shower, washer/dryer for use, water, sewer, and electric is covered for the use of the site. Scott is very likeable and is more than willing to help where it is needed. He has been in the RV business for 20+ years and is very knowledgeable about all of it. It was a great overnight and would be great for long term, if we needed it. I look forward to the site in the future.

Stayed there one night. Price is on the higher end for an RV park, but the value for it is good. It was quiet and seemed safe. Nice amenities.

Been staying here a bit and feels just as good as the 1st day. Great place to long term and still feel fresh everyday.
