Dallas Shady Oaks RV Park

We selected the premium site and felt the space worked out good for our short visit. Just stayed in our gated spot, did not feel comfortable walking around the area. Some noise from the highway, very convenient location.

My only concern was that our rig is 45ft long and the only way to exit is up a incline which is angled bad and we scrap p Ed the bottom of our rig. This damaged it pretty bad (unavoidable-not our fault).

Word of caution - after this happened I inspected the driveway and discovered alot of other scrapes on the concrete, we were not warned-even thou we weren't the 1st to have this happen to.

Online booking is sketchy and invalid. Booked a gated lot/site #14 only to be later informed not available, did not like the fact they charged me for this. However another site #6 ( smaller) was availble and they moved my reservation to it, tight 90 degree backin. Many long term residents, so i was a bit concerned of the crowd, No issue with nieghbors and park is lit up like a football stadium with security cameras all around. Would give five stars if booking worked corectly, also gated entrances, key pad doesnt work, but has a phone # to call that will open gate, actualy better than keypad.

Dallas Shady Oak was great to be at and work with! We arrived in a rainstorm and there was flooding at the site we were reserved at. Management did great and let us move to a different spot for the remainder of our stay. We very much appreciate their help! We will definitely stay again if we are back in Dallas.

I found this place after being scammed out of my money trying to rent a house. I have lived here going to 3 years with my friend who suffered a major stroke. We started out with a standard lot, then upgraded to a gated lot. We love it here. The staff are so wonderful, friendly, helpful, watchful and maintain the property nicely. One time my dog got out and the fantastic person was graceful and pick up my dog and kept him safe till we picked him up. It's convenient to shopping in Segoville and Balch Springs. There's a 24 hour laundry mat close by with free dryers. You'd be crazy not to stay here. We love it.

Nice gated park with decent sized lots. Staff are always friendly and quick to act on any concern you have. I have stayed here every time I come to Dallas. Only downside is they have few amenities and hardly any grass for the dogs to walk. I will be returning.
