On my way there I lost my water pump on my tow vehicle, breaking down on US 59. Had to be towed home. Terrible experience. To top that off I attempted to CANCEL. My reservation since I was going to not be able to get there Friday. I was laughEd at my person who answered the phone. Stating it sorry but that was my fault and could not do anything about the cancelation. I would just have to eat the money. Very poor customer service. But that is way our government employees thing. I will never Call again. Camping yes opinion of government employees very very low.

This is the friendliest and cleanest camping park. We love the spaced out camp sites and the double sites. The lake is beautiful and clean. The beach area is great for all ages. The bathrooms are the cleanest we ever seen at any park. We love this park.

Have used the group shelter a few times for our chuch's men's campout. Easy access to restroom and shower facilities, even hookups for RV's right in the parking lot. There was 1 light fixture that wasn't working and the firepit is in need of repair, but we still had a great time.

We enjoyed our stay very much. It is so nice to also have the store/bait shop.
It’s a very good crappie fishing lake.
The guard house people have always been very friendly.

We enjoyed our overnight stay here. The bluebonnets were beautiful and we had a nice view of the lake. We would certainly stay again.

This was our first time camping with a RV. Everything was perfect. Everyone was helpful. Park is nice and clean and dump access was easy for first timer. Will be going back!
