It's a great park with great fishing. Our only problem this visit was a large group of people that were in the pavilion each night and were very loud. They had loud music and commentary going up to and sometimes past quiet time.

Park was not maintained as well as it should be the grass needs to be kept cut shorter. The knats were so bad you could not cook or sit outside in the evening without being overtaken by them. We asked if our area could be mowed to see if it would help and was told the knats are all over the park. Yes, that is true but I think the high grass plays a big role in that because when you walked through the grass the knats were bedded down in the grass. It’s a beautiful park but wish it was better kept in the way of weeding, cutting the grass. There was a huge dead log in our camp area and what seemed to be a water leak in the sight next to us by the water spout.
