Nice clean park.
Could use more signage directing you to the camp sites.

Beautiful sites with views of the lake. If you are camping in late March early April I highly recommend making the wildflower loop through Chappel Hill. The roadsides are filled with color. Don’t miss touring the Blue Bell Creamery in Brenham and have a scoop of ice cream!

We were in site 69 for a week. We frequent the park. Bluebonnets were in full bloom and beautiful.

We had a great camping experience here. The campground was clean, well-kept, and the sites were spacious with plenty of room to relax. It was peaceful, especially at night, which made it perfect for sitting by the fire and enjoying the outdoors. The facilities were clean and easy to access, and there were plenty of things to do like fishing, walking, and just exploring. It felt very family-friendly and safe. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing camping trip!
