Great shaded spot and walking distance to bathroom and swim area. Swim area was great, bathrooms ok, had problems at night lights going out when showering which kept scaring our son. He changed bathrooms 3x and it happened each time. Worst ant problem we’ve ever encountered, as they kept pouring into our camper. I think it was from the shade tree and bushes. We had put out the spray and granules that had always worked before, but not this time.

we love camping at liberty hill. Except this time the bathrooms had lights that were out and not working and attendant said maybe to take showers before it got dark. Would also be nice if they had more 50 amp breaker camp sites to accommodate the newer campers that now come with 50 amp electric

We had a fantastic time! The swim beach was a great way to beat the Texas heat! And the covered park that was right beside the swim beach was a big hit! Even though only one light worked and it only worked half the time. All the personnel were very friendly and professional! Being within walking distance of the bathroom was a great plus! The cabin was a great place to stay and we will be back again!

I’m almost afraid to leave a good review because I don’t want this place to get any better for anyone else but me!!! Let me just brag on the destination of a camp ground location. They are clean! They are well maintained! They go the extra mile keeping the grounds clean! Bathrooms cleaned! Showers scary because I hate spiders but clean! I wish I would of brought a broom just to help keep it clean for them. But I honestly didn’t expect how nice it was to have a shelter for cover, plenty of trees. Safe area for kids to swim. A great clean playground. The family paddle boarded all over. The boats had plenty of space to be able to have fun tubbing times! Fishing is wonderful. I also love that the camp grounds keeps safety 100% in mind. They patrol to make sure people keep the rules maintained❤️this is a new family favorite and will be booking my next trip very soon!

We had site 22 and the ground was full of trash, the fire pit was full of trash and ashes and the picnic table and both concrete areas were covered with what looked like oil and/or grease all over them. It also needed mowing around the camping area. The location and the view were the only positives about the site. Walking around the loop, I also noticed that many fire pits were overgrown with grass inside of them, thus making them useless to use for their purpose. I think we will stick with State Parks.
