Check in was easy and gate staff were very nice. Our site #24 is real nice, lots of trees and nice view of the lake. Across from the swimming beach and play ground.

Many of the restrooms were closed. Some of the ones that were open had floors that were wet all of the time. Some of the restrooms were pit toilets that were gross.
My screened shelter had canvas flaps that could be lowered to cover the screens. They are old and need to be replaced. They had holes in them. Also, they had places where they could be fastened to the walls to keep them from flapping loudly in the wind. But these fasteners were torn off on many of them. So I had to stuff clothes and bags between them and the walls to keep the banging noises down so that I could sleep.
The store in the park does not sell firewood! So you have to drive to Hubbard to get firewood.
The park itself is very pretty, but given the problems, I would not go back.

Park sites were good size. Restrooms were terrible. 3 out of 4 restrooms were not clean at all and or had fixtures that were broken. During the 3 days at the park, the dirty restrooms were never cleaned.

We camp at Liberty Hill often. We love it. Sites are spaced well apart and there are several full hookup sites and 50amp with water sites. There are two dump stations. We recommend Liberty Hill.
