Lovely area!! Bluebonnets were in bloom and so beautiful! It was a bit windy but it's Texas in March/April so it's to be expected. We loved it!! Will be back!!!

Beautiful sites with views of the lake. If you are camping in late March early April I highly recommend making the wildflower loop through Chappel Hill. The roadsides are filled with color. Don’t miss touring the Blue Bell Creamery in Brenham and have a scoop of ice cream!
