Apon arrival I found the park to be clean and in good condition. The site I had chosen before hand was nice but since I am a tent camper I was looking for level ground. This particular site was not level which was disappointing since there were a lot of trees and a great view of the lake. I was not too disappointed because the people that were going to be my neighbor were playing their music really loud. I did not want to deal with that all weekend. So we were able to find another location that was somewhat isolated from other campers and it also had a nice view of the lake. The staff was very accommodating. The thing that I was most disappointed about was the condition of the facilities. The bathrooms as compared to some of the other parks I had been to were in terrible condition. i ended up driving to different station facilities to find one that was in better shape. there was a distinct smell of sewer coming from the one closest to our tent site. I would return again but I would stay on the north end of the park.
