Getting to park, there was no one at the booth. We got there at 2:00 pm. Had our tag taped to the plastic box with maps, information flyers. Never saw a park attendant. Didn’t know how to get to our site, drove all over trying to figure out how to get to it. Bathrooms are gross. Site numbers can’t be read. And there are limbs and sticks everywhere around the sites. VERY DANGEROUS. Have to go back home that way so staying one more night but will not enjoy it.

Our visit was very pleasant. The park had been mowed and the dead trees that were everywhere in the spring had been removed. The old buildings and discarded boats had also been cleared away and gave a nice hillside over view of the lake. We enjoyed our visit.

We stayed at Liberty Hill in the hottest part of August! It was still a nice visit with morning walks to see the sunrise on the lake, sometimes a breeze, and plenty of dragonflies to keep mosquitoes mostly non-existent 🤗 Our campsite was nice enough with full hookups, no issues with any utilities. The restrooms and showers in our loop could use some TLC, but they were functional and kept mostly clean. We will definitely be back when it is a bit cooler 🙃

The pavilion hadn't been cleaned in a while. My wife and I cleaned it. Years ago you guys lad these power washed and kept the grass mowed. I hate that budget restraints have accomplished this.
The park staff were very courteous.
We reserve this spot for two family reunions every year along with various other get togethers.
Please ask you leaf management to consider relasing more funds to keep the place clean.
Thank you
