The park is beautiful and facilities are great. I’ve camp here since the 1970’s and even hiked the connecting Cross Timbers Trail so I understand some related traffic, but there was homeless people hanging around and way too much traffic coming and going to be hikers. Many vehicles come and leave after short stays. The local authorities should investigate just what is happening in those woods.

The campsite was very good accommodated my large fifth wheel rig. Access into the park was tough due to new bridge construction, but when finished that will be fine. Campsites are clean and nicely kept. I highly recommend this place,

We had a great location. It was D 13, the only issue we had was that the water connection on the park side lever leaked really bad. It leaked the whole time we were there. So when we tried to sleep at night all we could here was water pouring on the ground. Other than that it was a great time

Campsites are pretty nice. The bathhouse is a distance away and is in horrible shape. It appears that it is not maintained at all.
