Excellent camping area. The cove is very well protected for keeping the boat close to the campsite. The restrooms are close by, always clean and water is hot when needed. The campground is also clean (always clean). One of the best boat ramps on the lake.

overall it is a nice park - not a lot of things to do unless you bring horses; but the access to the lake is good.
Not all the sites have been updated and were a bit run down - unfortunately, ours was one of those.
However, the restrooms were well kept and very clean; even the one with no water.
would go back again if better site was available.

It was a great park, my spot was clean, I didn't have any problems get my RV in to spot, I have a 40 ft motorhome, we were near our grandchildren, who were also there, the bathrooms were clean, you didn't feel uneasy about using them, we all will be going back to Platter Flats.
