What Guests Are Saying
Platter Flats is praised for its cleanliness, convenient bathroom facilities, and beautiful views, particularly from the B loop overlooking Lake Texoma. Guests appreciate the quiet atmosphere, helpful staff, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite camping destination. Some minor issues include noise from other campers and the need for maintenance on picnic tables and ant control, but overall, visitors express a desire to return.

The rest rooms were dirty this trip. There was also a big group in Loop B that played obscene music until early a.m. The camp host was nowhere to be found.

Always enjoy staying at Platter, great shade and you don't typically have a group of campers that are to rowdy or loud. Always clean spots available, you can really tell that the people who maintain the grounds truly care.

Nice, clean sites on concrete pads was a nice surprise! Roads were in good condition. We very much enjoyed our weekend there and look forward to going back.

Boat ramp was closed so we switched to East Burns Run but got charged a night stay at Platter anyway.

Supper clean
Friendly staff
The horse pens had some wasp in them. Took care if with wasp spray
The horse trails were confusing with loops and shortcuts Thankful for people that did mark them and trails were clean of brush. Got to see a deer. Will definitely come back.

Would have been nice if water hydrant would have been closer to our horse pens.
