El Paso Roadrunner RV Park has received mixed reviews. On the positive side, guests appreciate the helpful and friendly staff, particularly Cariel, as well as the convenient location near amenities like Walmart and parks. However, there are significant concerns regarding the closure of bathrooms and showers, high prices, and management issues, particularly with communication and service quality during renovations. I’ve been staying at Roadrunner RV in El Paso, and it’s been fantastic! The folks at the office are super helpful, professional, and friendly—plus bilingual! The park is in a great area near Walmart, parks, a gym, and more. They’ve got full hookups, with both back-in and drive-through lots for campers. There’s washers, dryers, and bathrooms near the office. They even added a little spot to walk your dog and have lunch outside. It’s quiet, safe, and I’d definitely recommend it!

The main reason for my one star review is a poor experience with management. We booked two nights outbound and then another two nights inbound on a trip to Texas. Upon arrival I found out their restroom/shower facility was closed due to remodeling. I was never told this when making the reservation by phone and it is not noted on their website. Had I been told on the phone I would have booked another RV Park. We stayed the two nights we had reserved but let them know I wished to cancel the two nights heading back on our trip. I asked them to waive the $50 cancellation fee due to the closed restroom/shower. This was 3 weeks in advance of the reservation. The person in the office, Car, said he would ask the manager. Next morning I checked with Car and he said the "manager" refused to waive the fee. I asked for the manager's phone number but Car refused and said he would ask the manager to call me. Not surprisingly, no call. The unavailability of such a significant feature of the park without being told at the time of the reservation seems like a slam dunk reason to waive the normal cancellation fee. To me. Very poor decision on their part. Other than my frustration with management, I might have rated the park a 2. Not a well kept up park and you park on dirt. Not gravel or concrete. Also, the general area is marginal. But everyone has their own standards. Ok for a night or two in a pinch. If the restrooms and showers were functional.
Amending my review based on the owner/manager agreeing to make a refund of my cancellation fee as an exception to their policy. Which I appreciate.
Amending review.....from what I can see by reviewing my credit card statement the owner/manager did not make an exception and waive the cancellation fee as he said he would. It has been almost 2 weeks and it appears the credit for the cancellation fee has not been applied. I did follow up with an email to the RV Park but no response. Just poor customer service on this issue and an apparent reversal of what was promised. If I am in error about the credit being extended I invite the Park to point this out and I will make another change to this review.

Ridiculously high prices recently. As soon as they got new management we Went from something like $500 to almost $800. They cancelled our Internet because the RV park got a contract with these internet people and they installed Wi-Fi towers within the RV park that they shoved into the costs of rent. Our previous internet was much faster and way cheaper than the new internet installed. We are always having trouble watching things like movies or videos. trying to do school homework gets hard because videos won't load or trying to submit assignments. Paying almost $800 for 2 washers and 2 dryers is insane.

The service, the place and the staff is good.
But my dissatisfaction is the increase in rent twice at the beginning of 2026.
One of my best experiences is that one of person of the staff is extremetly helpfull.
He helps you to resolve any question or problem that you have.
If you go on the weekends most workers just one to leave and go home, but Cariel helps you a lot. He makes the customer feels satisfied.

STEER CLEAR!!!!
My husband and I stopped here after a long day of driving. BIG MISTAKE! Their showers AND bathrooms are out of service, which we had no idea. On top of that, they charge to dump?! AND charge electricity use. You’d think during their renovations they would waive a fee or 2. So you’re telling me if I take a shower in my own RV I essentially have to pay you money to dispose of that water. On top of the $70+ stay?
Don’t go here. There are plenty of other RV parks that won’t nickel and dime you, have working facilities, and aren’t a hot mess like this one.
