I had the place to myself during the weekdays. The weekends are bustling. There are four private bathrooms. They are restocked and clean thoroughly every morning. I rode my bike into Ennis to attend the bluebonnet festival. I also kayak about a mile upstream. I saw road runners. I heard owls and turkeys. There must be a farm nearby. A very enjoyable stay!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful lake setting with large campsite areas. Quiet campground. Clean bathrooms. Showers did spill over on the floor a bit. We thought we were going to need to make an adjustment in our camping nights. The staff was open to helping us make changes, but it turned out that our original plan worked out. We appreciated the effort.
