Loved our stay , the only thing I have to say negative is the ceiling fans need to be cleaned ..everything else was perfect ..inwill be coming back if giving the chance.

I think boaters might enjoy this as a home base but it did not feel like a campground here but rather a deserted KOA, minus a pool, people and amenities.
We did camp right on the water which provided a pretty backdrop for dinner.
Our site was very clean and the fire pit was fabulous.
There is a breed of insects that were not mosquitoes; when the sun goes down they are super intense and massively drawn to any light source.
Also we experienced a vulture show that was pretty incredible, they live and nest in the bushes nearby and hang out in the trees before dark.
Helpful check-in hosts, very nice.

The lake was really nice and clean, but there are snakes swimming around in the shallow parts so be careful.
