Blue Water Resort

Texas' little hidden gem on the beach! This place was an amazing experience nestled in between Galveston and Surfside, far away from the crowds! They have everything you need (great restaurant, shop, boat ramp, fishing, golf cart rental, pool, enertainment.....on the beach!!). The staff was one of the highlights. Everyone was more than helpful, regardless of the help needed. A true Texas Treasure!

This park is really nice and quiet. Can set out at night and listen to the surf. Any spot has a nice view because of no one behind you. Will be back again hopefully for a longer stay.

What more could you want from a beach vacation besides the beach, a good restaurant/bar and tons of RV site options. This is a great park with cool site options like a private pier to the canal or just across the street from the beach. Nice big sites, some with palapas or fireplaces are available and the pool area was spotless. The wifi was also good and there was a boat ramp and plenty of extra parking

This is one of my favorite RV parks ever. It has such a unique history being John Wayne's former private runway. The setup is amazing and gives every site a fabulous view. The staff is wonderful and attentive. The park has it's own crosswalk to the beach. You see water from every site, and you are within walking distance of the beach. They have a Discovery Trail at the back of the park that leads out into the bay. There's also a restaurant on site. The only weird thing was how far forward the sewer hookups are. Some RVers had to pull their rig all the way to the front of the site to reach the hook up, even with 30 ft. of hose. Outside of that the place is perfect.

We love camping here! Excellent sites, the shop and restaurant/bar are so convenient and fun! The staff is Excellent, very friendly and helpful. But the piers are the best! I have no complaints....but also selfishly I don't want everyone else to know about this place🤣

I only have 4 stars for the rooms...it's nice that they have a few cabins for people without campers.... but they could be juts a bit nicer....but the option is nice.
