It is a fairly nice park with paved sites. There is no host. Some volunteers monitor the park. We reserved and paid for a FHU site, however, the sewer was out of service. We saw someone bending over our sewer connection. They never said anything to us, but we started to dump the tanks, the someone had written "Do not use." It would have been nice if someone had knocked on the door and told us rather than just writing on the connection. When we asked about when it would be fixed, they said not till May. We immediately canceled our future reservation, but it did cost us a $10 cancellation fee. Do not pay FHU price until you are sure they have sewer fixed. If you are happy with water and electric, they have a lot of nice sites for the price. We stayed in a Motorhome and paid $13 per night in site 22.

Nice quiet park but be aware the 5 sites listed as full hookups are not.
The septic is broken on these sites, and you won't be allowed to use it.

Willis Creek is a VERY SMALL campground, but that's a good thing. It's quiet and clean, a lot of deer and birds. It does need some updating, heat in the shower house would be nice on those cold mornings. All 3 camp hosts were helpful and nice.

Too many dogs off leash, running around, barking. Fire pits need to be replaced- rusted out and cooking grate mangled. Be nice to have more sewer sites. Wonderful hosts! Even brought campers a tin of homemade Christmas candies on Christmas morning! Enjoy camping at Willis Creek.

Nice quiet park, near the lake to fish and kayak. Out in the middle of ranch and farm lands. Beautiful starry evenings and camp fires.

Beautiful, quiet campground with large spaces with a pavilion over the cement patio with a picnic table. There is a great cowboy hat store nearby and a couple places like Chrisner’s Farm and GT’s DIgs to look through dirt for Indian artifacts, which is one of my son’s hobbies.

Campground was very clean, and hosts were friendly and helpful. Loved the quiet peacefulness. Found the fire pits were placed in an odd place - some too close to neighbors, should be more towards the lake. Some sites were very close together - ours was the best! Definitely one of our favorites!

It is just a very nice quiet park. I love that it is close to Walmart and HEB and a nearby trail on the San Gabriel River.
