Willis Creek is a VERY SMALL campground, but that's a good thing. It's quiet and clean, a lot of deer and birds. It does need some updating, heat in the shower house would be nice on those cold mornings. All 3 camp hosts were helpful and nice.

Too many dogs off leash, running around, barking. Fire pits need to be replaced- rusted out and cooking grate mangled. Be nice to have more sewer sites. Wonderful hosts! Even brought campers a tin of homemade Christmas candies on Christmas morning! Enjoy camping at Willis Creek.

Nice quiet park, near the lake to fish and kayak. Out in the middle of ranch and farm lands. Beautiful starry evenings and camp fires.

Beautiful, quiet campground with large spaces with a pavilion over the cement patio with a picnic table. There is a great cowboy hat store nearby and a couple places like Chrisner’s Farm and GT’s DIgs to look through dirt for Indian artifacts, which is one of my son’s hobbies.

Very well maintained campground, and the price is extremely reasonable.
Love to COE.

Campground was very clean, and hosts were friendly and helpful. Loved the quiet peacefulness. Found the fire pits were placed in an odd place - some too close to neighbors, should be more towards the lake. Some sites were very close together - ours was the best! Definitely one of our favorites!

It is just a very nice quiet park. I love that it is close to Walmart and HEB and a nearby trail on the San Gabriel River.

Would have been nice to pull our trucks up to the group site (28), but understand it being muddy and not wanting tracks.

Had a very nice time during my stay.
One complaint that I hope they can resolve is that there are only 8 of the 28 spots being used and I can only stay 14 days in a 30 day period.
During the off season there should be different terms. By doing this, they could fill more spots for a longer period.

Great site!!! Nice size camp sites, good parking spaces and CRAZY clean bathroom facilities!!! It was a really awesome bonus to have water at each site. We had a wonderful campout and will make sure to return to Willis Creek again soon.
