I’ve been going to Willis Creek COE campground for a couple of years now and I don’t know why the restroom has not been repaired. One working toilet!!! Why has the other toilet not repaired?

This is a great area to visit. I can almost always get reservations here. Improvements... Get fully functional restrooms, not wet inside... Also... Stop allowing campsites to be "dog pens". That can not be clean . But . A beautiful pleasant park.

The Good: Great campsites, plenty of green space and privacy. Great park hosts. To be IMPROVED: The bathroom showers have a button times out in about 30+ seconds! Then you sit there with mosquito's biting in the intense heat/humidity and have to wait a full minute before you can start your shower water again! This is not acceptable. Campers (customers) have soap/shampoo in their eyes and face and can't wash off...... PLEASE fix this and allow us to shower properly. The mosquito population was overwhelming, we spent the majority of our time inside the camper or in town. Maybe a pest control spray schedule when there is high population would be a great benefit since they carry very dangerous Zika and West Nile virus's.
Thanks for all you can do to improve and give us a chance to camp!!!!

This is a very quiet campground that has the best of both worlds, the campsites are nestled in shade of the woods and catch the breeze from the lake. Most pavilions have swallow bird nests and you can watch them come and go.
The one thing I will mention that would be an amazing upgrade is the timer on the showers touch button, it’s frustrating taking a shower and the water not wanting to turn back on.

It is a very quiet park, there's tons of wildlife, the grass is well maintained. Half the water and electricity sites are on the lake side of the drive with ample shade trees.

Joe and Cindy were excellent park hosts, were friendly, ensuring we were aware of all the details, provided input on the lake and kept the facilities in great shape. Thank you!
