Very clean campground. Well maintained. Nice walks and bike riding. Austin and Waco made for a couple of nice day trips. Fishing and setting around a campfire just relaxing gave us a very nice week. See you next year.

Was not very clear on the website that the beach and "day use" area would be closed during the off season. Also sign on the bathroom read that it was only being cleaned on Sat, Sun, and Mon. Had I known this I would have not come to camp overnight on a Thursday. Otherwise, campgrounds were very nice.

We love this park. Sites are large and basically well maintained.
I would like to suggest an emergency contact # for the park host
be written on the park pass. There was an incident with another camper during our stay and I found it difficult to contact anyone.
Ended up calling 911. I hated to tie them up with an issue that a park host could have handled.

From I-35 take Highway 79 east to Highway 95. Go north to FM 1331 then go east on FM 1331 for approximately 7 miles to the entrance of Granger Dam. Turn left and take next left into the park
