The campground is nice, with decent sized sites, however the bathroom was horrible. For two days there was no toilet paper and there was used toilet paper all over one stall and the other stall was clogged for a day and a half. They only clean the bathrooms 3 days a week which is not enough... especially when there are only two for all the sites.
Although it was too cold to swim, we still would have liked to check out the day use area but that was locked up too.

Bathroom facilities are a disgrace to this country and the Corps. Why are other Corps parks so well kept, clean, updated and well-equipped while this one is flat awful?

We enjoyed our visit, but the restroom/shower area was dirty and dark, no hot water. This has been a problem for years and still hasn’t been fixed. For such a nice park this is truly a problem. The gate attendant was rude and not working the shack at all for the weekend we were there. The septic dump station was clogged up and had to use the other camp ground site to dump waist.
Hope this gets fixed soon. Looking forward to next visit with these problems addressed.

We did nite get a code to check into park. Also no one cleaned the restrooms. One stall was clogged for 3 days. We stayed at site #46 . It wasn’t cleaned. Water bottles, dried food, plastics ware just spread out thru our our site

Nice.. others respect quiet time. Careful when using dump station.. it doesn’t flow well and will bubble out all over the ground.

The site (#10) was somewhat secluded and on a cove of the lake; it had it's one lake access. Though the site was a little messy from previous users (we simply picked-up after them), the campground was quiet, clean, and well-maintained. The lake is clean and quiet as well. A nice weekend retreat.
