Too many vehicles blocking the road, no help at the gate and no response to phone line to Corps office. Looks like a party area - left and went to Taylor park (Corps park very close to Fox). Was peaceful quiet, very few campers - a better choice

I love this park. It's convenient for a weekend get away. When we arrived the electric box at our site wasn't working but the park attendant at the front contacted the park ranger and arranged for us to move to another site. She was very helpful.
Now the bad. The restrooms were disgusting. My son and his family stayed in the shelter at our site and had to use the public restrooms. Both toilets in the women's room were stopped up and were full of feces. One toilet in the mens room was stopped up and full, so we literally stood guard outside the mens restroom while my daughter in law and granddaughter used the one working toilet in the camping area. The showers in both were filthy.
My son and daughter in law contacted the park host ( 1st site when you enter camping area , with Harleys parked there) to report the condition of the restrooms. He informed them that he wasn't on duty and that he doesn't clean or fix restrooms anyway. He then said that a crew is contracted to take care of the restrooms and they are cleaned on Saturday's. He also informed them to call whoever was on duty but they wouldn't be able to do anything either. He did not give them the number to call "whoever was on duty"
On Saturday the lady that helped me by getting us a new spot on Friday was making rounds and picking up litter. We spoke to her about the restrooms and she was aware of the issue and said a cleaning crew was contracted to take care of that and were supposed to thoroughly clean the restrooms on every Saturday. She did inform us that she did check the restrooms on the other side of the camping area that morning and that they were clean but advised us that there were no showers there. She advised us about the showers at the swim beach and said they were available when that area was open.
She was helpful and pleasant.
Except for the filthy restrooms and the rude attendant our stay was nice.

Wilson Fox park needs help, where there for over a week and never saw a park ranger drive thru. The few park hosts where trying to take care of the park but need help with basics like picking up trash, bath room cleaning.the RV sites need work our covered patio area had broken supports ( 2 x 6 boards ). Saw over 5 broken BBQ grills. The dump station was a mess including one of the water valves would not work.
I love this park, have been coming here on and off for 25 yrs.

The camp hosts should be fired. They were never seen the entire weekend. The security gate going into the campground is broken and doesn’t function. The gate going into the swim beach was locked and was closed till mid afternoon on Saturday. The hosts never came around to give us our sticker pass to be put on the truck window. The bathrooms were nasty and there was no toilet paper. There was one site across from us where the grill at that site was broken and laying on the ground. The people that had that site were trying to temporarily fix it so they could have a grill for the weekend. Isn’t that the responsibility of the camp hosts to fix or get it fixed. Lots of things that should be addressed by the camp hosts, yet they were not seen anywhere doing anything!! I’ve been to this campground many times over the last 25 years and this last trip is absolutely the worst the campground has ever been.

We arrived and our site did not have working water. Host who said he was off duty said find a park ranger. The phone number on your site just rings busy

There was trash on the ground throughout out the park that never got picked up. The park had 3 park hosts but we never saw them. The beach area was closed, but we didn't know why.
We were supposed to stay a whole week but left 3 days early.
