What Guests Are Saying

Salmon Lake Park & Resort offers a relaxed, rustic atmosphere with great photo opportunities of vintage farm implements and vehicles, making it ideal for family reunions and summer activities. However, swimming conditions may be less than ideal due to weeds and debris in the water, and some visitors have experienced allergies from the surrounding environment. Overall, it provides a charming setting for those seeking a unique outdoor experience.

Normally salmon lake has been a great place to swim, but after swimming around for a bit I found myself constantly stepping on rocks, bricks, sticks and all sorts of various items. Lake was covered in weeds where even if you’re staying still in the water you get cover in it. Also some of these sharper bricks were standing with the points facing up lucky I didn’t step on the tops of them.

This off the road park offers some fabulous photo ops of rusted farm implements and vehicles. Plenty of "memory lane" sites to view as well. Looks like a great place for a family reunion or summer time swimming and camping for the family!

Very relaxed, rustic rv park. We spent several days there with the Casita rally. Unfortunately I was pretty much confined to our rv with bad allergies there's lots of dirt blowing around. Lots of cool vintage buildings and even a swimming hole and cabins.

The cabins are actually really clean, that is what stood out to us. We were there for a family reunion and it is a great location for that. The golf cart rental is a must and they are really nice golf carts. The staff is super friendly. It's a true country feel, no TVs in the cabins which is nice. If I had to complain it was the pond, it was too nasty for us to swim, there was a foul smell coming from where the water enters from the overflow from the pond above.. the water appears to be pretty stagnant, there was a ton of algae covering the entire pond and there was a film you could see when people were swimming. I would recommend this place for family gatherings it's perfect for that. The pond was the only negative for us.

Love this place! It's like stepping back in time. All the old buildings are so amazing. Some of them are even fixed up enough to rent out. There's a pond that's more of a swimming hole really. It's got a big huge slide and diving board. There's gorgeous picturesque little bridges over the little creeks littered throughout the park's beautiful trees. I loved walking barefoot through the sand streets. The whole experience was very relaxing. I'd highly recommend it to anyone wanting to get away from the hustle and bustle of life.
