Nice atmosphere, but restrooms are not maintained inside or out. About 70 percent of the showers did not work. Out of 7 nights, I got 2
lukewarm showers and 5 cold showers. When making the reservation, we were told the showers were heated, not so. Stayed 7 days and saw the trash emptied once, showers and bathrooms were not cleaned at all. Looked like they hadn't been cleaned in months.

Great park in heart of DFW. Super quiet during the week. Camp host are marvelous and understanding when you need to come in after hours. We had our son’s wedding to deal with and they were very understanding of our needs for coming in late. We stay here every time we come to DFW.

Wonderful place. We had a blast. Friendly staff. I felt very safe. The only reason I gave 4 stars is the bathrooms are pretty disgusting. I mean like a prison. They can do way better there. The outside of the bathroom is beautiful. All stone. But when you walk inside it’s really gross. Like I’d rather dig a hole and go outside. Come on guys. Do better.

The campsite was very nice and overall the grounds are very clean. It was very convenient to the DFW area.
However if you plan to come with kids they have taken out all of the playgrounds for some reason and have not replaced them. It boggles my mind that a campground such as this does not have any playgrounds. All of the showerhouses also have a lot to be desired and could use some updating.
