The staff is friendly and helpful.
There a lot of water activities. I enjoy paddling and there are several coves to paddle away from the wind. On a calm day, you can paddle for hours and enjoy the beauty of the area.

Quiet, spacious park. Nicely laid out with lots of wooded trails throughout. Very clean, with the exception of the public restrooms/bathhouse, which was not overly clean and was in need of some repairs. Easy access to the lake from most loops; lots of deer roaming the park.

The site (#70) was clean (except for the random bath towel that was left on top of the picnic table). The grass was cut, and the water and electrical worked without issue. The site is nice and shady in the mornings; no need for the awning until the afternoon sun. This spot is level and long enough for big rigs. Plenty of space to walk to the dogs in the field next to the site. I was thankful we found a weekend spot at the last minute.

nice visit, it would be nice if there were two stations at the dump station, it got very crowded at checkout time. Very nice boat ramp. Gate attendants were very friendly and helpful

This is a very well maintained park. The campsites were clean and although the bathrooms needed some work, Hickory Creek is one of the better campgrounds I’ve been to.
