Hickory Creek offers clean campsites, plenty of shade from trees, and a beautiful natural setting with abundant wildlife, making it a favorite for many campers. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, along with well-maintained grounds and facilities. However, there are consistent concerns regarding the cleanliness and maintenance of bathrooms, along with some issues related to power outages.

We love this park. It’s always clean, the trees, birds, lake are beautiful. You don’t even feel like you’re in town when camping here.

Very little shade. Showers in our area had no water in showers. Bugs, dead and alive, all over the boathouse and cobwebs everywhere. Obviously hadn’t been cleaned. Very disappointed. We have stayed at many Army Corp campsites and they were well maintained and great sites. Will not stay here again.

Good people running the place, pretty clean park, well managed. Some spots have trash but I just pick it up when I get in there

Peaceful site, lots of animal and bird visitors. There is no shade for the camper past 11am in the summer prepare for the heat, no trees on the west side of the camp spot. We enjoyed the trails being so close and running all through the park. Everything is pretty well maintained and in working order.

The grounds were well kept and we loved our site, but the bathrooms were in need of attention the whole time we were there. There were bugs all over the entry that were never rinsed out and the showers were also in need of a rinse.
