Very friendly staff, campsites are in great shape. We had to cut our trip short due to medical reasons and they refunded our money. Much appreciated!

Hickory Creek offers clean campsites, plenty of shade from trees, and a beautiful natural setting with abundant wildlife, making it a favorite for many campers. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, along with well-maintained grounds and facilities. However, there are consistent concerns regarding the cleanliness and maintenance of bathrooms, along with some issues related to power outages.

Nice area. Close to the big city, but you wouldn’t know it if it weren’t for the jet traffic overhead. Facilities in good repair and some nice trails.

The grounds were well kept and we loved our site, but the bathrooms were in need of attention the whole time we were there. There were bugs all over the entry that were never rinsed out and the showers were also in need of a rinse.

Peaceful site, lots of animal and bird visitors. There is no shade for the camper past 11am in the summer prepare for the heat, no trees on the west side of the camp spot. We enjoyed the trails being so close and running all through the park. Everything is pretty well maintained and in working order.
