Hickory Creek offers clean campsites, plenty of shade from trees, and a beautiful natural setting with abundant wildlife, making it a favorite for many campers. Guests appreciate the friendly and helpful staff, along with well-maintained grounds and facilities. However, there are consistent concerns regarding the cleanliness and maintenance of bathrooms, along with some issues related to power outages.

Great spot in the DFW Metroplex but it feels so tranquil. You can witness deer grazing and hear birds sing. They are apparently in the flight path of the airport(s) but if you don't bother them they won't bother you. 😉

We love COE properties. They are consistent from state to state (At least from wheat we have experienced). We had a back in site with ample room to park the 5th wheel and truck on the site. The bathrooms were very large and clean. The showers could use some hooks and warmer water but not bad at all. Some of the bathroom stalls did not have operational locks as some maintenance could be done there.

This is our favorite park for a group camping experience. Beautiful scenery, great experience in deer watching, and plenty of water/hiking.

My husband and I, have been to Hickory Creek twice and we love it. This second time, we walked around to find our spot for the next visit. This park has a walking trail, fishing, bike riding. I would say the only downside is, the one dump station but if you beat the rush, it's fantastic.

Was pretty but spot 66 was very dangerous. Ground washed away from pad . Need to be fixed before someone gets hurt. I fell twice just getting in and out of camper because of it

Site 38 was really quiet with mediocre views of the lake. Love the park!
