We stayed at Westlake RV Resort this past weekend and had a good experience overall. Our pull‑through site was clean, and we appreciated the onsite amenities like the dog wash and propane. The location is convenient, though it’s right in the middle of a busy commercial area.
The park does have quite a few long‑term residents, and some sites have personal items around them. It gives more of an extended‑stay park vibe rather than what I would typically consider a “resort,” so future guests may want to keep that in mind. The photos online look like they were taken when the property was newer.
The highlight of our stay was the customer service. Erich Chapman, the property manager, was extremely helpful and hospitable. When we discovered our water pump had burst from the recent ice storm, we had to leave our cargo area open with a fan while attending an event. We appreciated that nothing was disturbed and that everyone was understanding.
Overall, a good stay with great customer service—just not quite the resort atmosphere we were expecting.
