We came to Celebrate AMERICA'S 250th Birthday!!! Had a blast & Fireworks Show did not disappoint!!! Lots of trails to ride & the new owners are working tirelessly to get the park to everyone's SATISFACTION. We don't have anything negative too say... It's a FANTASTIC ATV park w/ a swimming hole to cool off. Bike wash worked great! They even let us use their grill two nights to cook dinner. Bath house has two showers & 3 restrooms in Men's & Women's. If it's rained the park will be MUDDY MUDDY & DEEP DEEP!!!

Muddy Gras was a huge letdown. We’ve been coming to General Sams Offroad Park for years and it used to be one of our favorite places. Not anymore.
The trails are trashed. It looks like logging trucks tore everything up, and in many spots you get stuck with no way out except forward. The creek trail — one of the best parts of the park — is basically destroyed and no longer accessible. The whole place feels neglected and nothing like it used to be.
For an event this big, the lack of upkeep was unacceptable. Dust was horrible with no water trucks running the main trails. We saw multiple rigs leaving with busted tires, one can only wonder how many happened on the “logging trails”. Only three food vendors and barely any selection. The events were poorly planned, and the backhoe operator clearly didn’t know what they were doing.
We won’t be back until this place is cleaned up. Extremely disappointing.

We arrived at this OHV park late Thursday to ride Friday and camp 2 nights planning to leave early Saturday morning. Heather, who works there, told us a day pass to ride is $40 each in addition to paying for the campsite. We believed her and paid. Then I checked the website and it is $20 for a day pass. We contacted her and was referred to her boss, David. He refused to refund our money. The park was basically a big mud bog which is not our preferred off-roading. So we left early. Know upfront what the fees are if you are going to stay here so you don’t get ripped off like we did. Also there was trash everywhere and if crowded the RV sites would be difficult to get into with a bigger rig. Ours is 45 feet and we couldn’t get into space 19. Trails are poorly maintained.

We decided to take some time off and spend the New Year weekend at General Sam's Offroad Park. It was a great decision and great time! Quite a relaxed & family friendly environment, and the management is very accommodating!
Oh- and of course they have plenty of trails, mud holes, and even go-arounds for the smaller machines.
We will definitely be back!
