Johnson Creek R.V. Park is absolutely beautiful. The park is a quiet and very clean place to visit and or live. The amenities are are plentiful. The laundry area is very clean. The outdoor recreation has many things to offer. A quiet stroll down to the creek, fishing, walking through the tree covered park, outdoor gazebo, swimming pool, a beautiful deck to gaze across the hills and the creek running below is a wonderful place to grab photos, read a book, meet people or just enjoy nature. The wildlife is plentiful too! There are several areas within the park that staff offer activities during the year. A wonderful Sunday service was offered in the past, and quite possibly still does. Oh, and locationnis amazing too! You are out away from the hustle and bustle of the busy town, but not too far either. Tom and Lisa are the absolute best! You won't be disappointed.

Only stayed one night, but we will definitely come back for a longer stay. Seemed like it was a very nice and quiet park. Love the trash pickup service and the Western Town.

We were only able to stop for the night but this campground has a really nice vibe to it. Both of the people I interacted with (pretty sure it was the owners) were super friendly and helpful. The sites were paved and level, very clean and well kept up. We are planning on staying again next trip back to Texas.

Our family, two humans and two pups have enjoyed this park twice and we love it! The staff couldn't be more accommodating and kind. The restrooms are clean. The chapel and western hall reminds of the old west days. Lots of pecan trees surround many sites, mini pony pasture, and two dog parks. There is great fishing too! A quiet, beautiful paradise. It's easy to navigate, we have a 34' pull behind, and the site roads are wide enough also. Book your camping trip here, you won't regret it!

My initial impression was run down, even though family and friends we were with had talked the place up prior to arrival, which is why we were there.
It’s definitely more long term rv occupants than short term vacation occupants.
Lots of stickers in the “grass” areas which were all more weeds or dirt than grass. Pool was only nice thing, but pool house bathroom and pool area overall left much to be desired.
Dog area as shown on map given and on website is apparently no longer the dog park (just looked like a junk yard). Dog area as now signed at the park is old horse pasture, as shown on the map, and was full of stickers.
Not sure why anyone would use the chapel as it looks rundown and surrounded by junk. And there was a weird ghost town looking set up, which is I guess for events? But again, looks rundown.
Just overall very run down and unwelcoming. Got 3 stars for how quiet it was, which was nice, and the pool. We left a day early.
