What Guests Are Saying
Hanks Creek campground is well-kept and offers a peaceful atmosphere, with clean sites and decent facilities, making it a great spot for relaxation and outdoor activities. Many campers enjoyed the beautiful views of the lake and appreciated the friendly park hosts. However, some areas are in need of maintenance and updates, particularly the boat ramps and restroom facilities, which have been affected by recent flooding and storms.

Hanks was a really nice peaceful place. My family and I enjoyed being by the water and trees. The host there was very helpful. I couldn’t get signal to pay for a camp site, the host helped me get one.

This is a beautiful campground. We have been here several times and love it. Nice place to walk and tucked back in from the open part of the lake and the wind. It is a little tough to fish Sam Rayburn outside of the inlet due to wind. I would highly recommend this campground to others to enjoy. Host very friendly and helpful.
