What Guests Are Saying
Mill Creek offers a beautiful, relaxing environment with friendly park hosts and ample space for family activities, making it a great spot for camping. Many guests appreciate the clean facilities and scenic views of the lake, along with enjoyable playgrounds for children. However, there are concerns about the maintenance of the campground, including uneven sites, overgrown grass, and the need for repairs, which detracts from the overall experience for some visitors.

We come here every year. The park has been nice since the first time we stayed here. There have been improvements every year.on our first trip there was metal pipe fencing. Really made it difficult to get in some of the sites. That has been removed, a lot of brush has been cleared out, and some tree trimming has been done. It is a really nice park. Have seen a lot more of the park host the last couple of years which in my opinion is a good thing. Just makes you feel more secure seeing them in the park.

I have been camping at Mill Creek for over 30 years. Over those 30 years they have improved the parts significantly. Dump stations, bathrooms, showers, and playgrounds for the kids. This trip we were surprised to see that they repaved the roads in the park. Will continue to camp at Mill Creek.

Although the weather over Thanksgiving Day and day after wasn’t good, the surroundings were beautiful.
The newly blacktopped roads and campsites were a great (and needed!) improvement!

Wife and I just love this park, the only problem that we do not like is the showers and restrooms have no heat, and the showers are push button that are 10 seconds or less and the water is either cold or hot and fluctuate back forth

Our experience was very pleasant. Park is overall in good shape. Roads recently resurfaced and nice. Was unaware some sites had sewer as that was not clear in site description. Would have preferred a full hook up site. Staff was very friendly.

Nice enough park. Sam Rayburn lake is low and not a lot of birds. While campground is on the side of a hill the sites are pretty level over all. There was road noise but it was during the week and there where dump trucks in the park doing some construction on the boat ramp. We found the Host to be very pleasant.
