What Guests Are Saying
Mill Creek offers a beautiful, relaxing environment with friendly park hosts and ample space for family activities, making it a great spot for camping. Many guests appreciate the clean facilities and scenic views of the lake, along with enjoyable playgrounds for children. However, there are concerns about the maintenance of the campground, including uneven sites, overgrown grass, and the need for repairs, which detracts from the overall experience for some visitors.

We have stayed at this park many times. Each time we love the location and quiet atmosphere. It is a great place to visit for bass fishing and water sports. However, we have discovered that the park lacks adequate parking room. We never have enough room to park our two cars and boat. In addition, park rules state that guests cannot park on the grass.

This is my favorite park on Sam Rayburn. Ample access to the water, nice shade in the park, friendly hosts, and friendly neighbors.

The location is great. The park is currently upgrading some sites to 50 amp, but the facilities definitely need work. While we were there, one of the bathrooms was closed and the other only had 1 functioning stall in the ladies room. That meant only 1 toilet for that entire half of the park.

The Volunteer Park Rangers at Mill Creek Park were Outstanding! Very nice park with clean restrooms and hot showers! We stayed at site # 89 and found it to have a very beautiful view of the lake and awesome sunsets! Right on the water! Rangers checked on us each day and were very friendly and helpful with our reservations. Our site was neat and clean with water, electricity, and covered picnic table.
