What Guests Are Saying
Sandy Creek Park is praised for its peaceful atmosphere, cleanliness, and well-maintained grounds, making it a favorite among campers. Guests appreciate the spacious, level sites, helpful staff, and beautiful views of the lake. However, there are concerns about the outdated restrooms and difficulties with the dump station, which could use some improvement.

We had a great trip, spot is great. We did have some troubles getting in and getting camper placed. Your underneath live oaks that provide amazing shade. With slide outs it was difficult to get it placed where slide outs don’t hit trees. Definitely a two person job. I wish there was sewer hook up as after a few days thing really get nerve racking. Overall beautiful place. I do wish there were a few more trails to ride bikes on we found one. We never found a map that had this marked.

Camp hosts are friendly. This is an old extremely outdated campground with pathetic restrooms and showers. The restrooms and showers are sweat rooms. No Air Conditioning and overwhelming heat and humidity inside them. Even the new restroom is new but NO air conditioning and overwhelming heat and humidity.
The sites are filthy. Be prepared to bring your own blower or broom!

Clean, quiet, peaceful, relaxing-and more. The people who work there are extremely friendly and helpful. Just a great perfect place to camp.
