Very nice park. Well kept. Clean restrooms. Most sites are 30amp, so you have to be careful using appliances if you have a 50amp rig.

The space and the parking was very small compared to other sites. There was no way to call the front desk. The clerk was very nice. There was no map of trail. Trail was not maintained.

The campground is managed by the federal government and if you have a senior or similar type National Parks and Federal Land membership pass, you get 50% of the daily camp fee.
The sites have beautiful views of the lake and are close to the water. The campground was obviously built many years ago as the sites seem designed for smaller trailers / RV's. If your RV is over 34' long, select your site carefully as many of them are not level (you will need leveling blocks for sure), and some have a steep ascent / descent driveway to the site requiring a 90 degree back in from a narrow service road with drainage ditches on either side of the road.
There has clearly been much erosion from rains storms over the years which has not been repaired and a number of camp site have been yellow taped as not usable due to hazardous drop-offs, etc. These can be dangerous for kids or adults not paying attention to where they are walking.
Bathrooms are clean, but also badly in need in refurbishing as they are decades old. Walls are cracked with plaster falling / paint peeling and water temp is unpredictable. There are no sewer connections at most camp sites so the bathrooms are used more than a campgrounds with sewer connections.
Now if the government would get their priorities right and stop funding ridiculous things with our taxpayer dime, instead focusing a billion or so dollars on restoring America's parks and campgrounds the public might actually be served.
If the park was in a better state of repair, it would easily get a rating of 4 or more.

Liked the campsite but the bathhouse was outdated, needed cleaning and repair. Probably would not stay again. Seems to be a campground for fishermen. Make sure to bring your bug repellent.

General
- Camping is permitted at designated campsites only.
- Camping fees are charged on a per site basis.
- All park users (including campers) must register with the attendant prior to occupying a site.
- No golf carts or ATVs/UTVs allowed.
- Use of developed sites for any reason (including picnicking) will require a camping fee.
- The number of persons allowed per site is limited to ten (10).
- Occupancy at each campsite is limited to two tents, or one tent and one trailer (including pop-up trailers, self-contained RVs and truck-mounted campers).
- The number of vehicles per site shall be limited to two (2) per site. This does not include the camping unit. An extra vehicle tag may be purchased. America the Beautiful and Golden Age Passes do not allow entry into the park to visit a camp site.
- Fires must be confined to fire rings.
- All waste water, including gray water, must be properly disposed of at the park dump stations.
- All pets must be on a leash under six feet in length.
- Generators shall not be operated between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 6:00 a.m.
- Fireworks are prohibited.
- Don't Move Firewood: Prevent the spread of tree-killing pests by obtaining firewood near your destination and burning it on-site. For more information visit dontmovefirewood.org.
