North by Northwest RV Park

Stayed here for a few months while doing storm recovery in the area. Very pleasant RV park, nice and quiet in the evenings. The manager Tom was always friendly and helpful. Enjoyed my stay and would be happy to stay there again if work brings me back to the area.

Just set up in our lot and through the booking process Linda was very kind and helpful. Upon arrival, levelling was not an issue as we had the proper tools. All the campers around us have been kind and welcoming. Roads have enough room to turn around and park if necessary and it’s easy enough to get to off the road if you pay attention to the map :)

This is a relatively small campground apparently for long-term work-campers. Difficult to get into if coming from the East, as there is no turn lane and poor signage. Google said go a 1/4 mile west and make a U-turn, which really wasn't possible. Paved road makes one loop around the sites and is a bit narrow, as are the gravel sites, which are far from level. Our 3-night stay site was more than 5 inches lower on the passenger side than on the drivers side -- bring your blocks. No amenities except laundry. Overall, maintenance was below average, and campers pretty much ignored the CG rules on keeping their spaces neat and clean and not cluttered with dog fences and other junk that seems to accumulate when CG rules are not enforced. One point for location, which was good for us. One point for the hook-ups. One point for the fast Wifi, which was a bit surprising considering everything else. We will try someplace else next time we visit.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were in town for a wedding. I called the staff twice once to let them know we would be coming in late. They moved us to a spot she said would be a lot easier to back into in the dark. And she was correct! We had no problems at all. The second time I called I requested a later checkout. She informed me she didn't have anyone coming into our site so to take our time. We have stayed at a lot of campgrounds and this one was neat, quiet and VERY accommodating. We will be back!!

I stayed at this park for 6 months this year while working in Cedar Park. The park was clean, Linda and Tom were super friendly and helpful, and it was a wonderful experience. Park tends to be more towards workers/contractors, which is nice, kept it quiet. Shower facilities were great and clean, laundry on site was great and affordable ($5 to wash + dry). Rates were super reasonable and the sites were nice.

If I am ever back down this way, I'd happily stay here again.
