What Guests Are Saying

Kimball Bend Park is a beautiful and well-kept campground with spacious sites, friendly hosts, and a peaceful atmosphere by the Brazos River. Many visitors appreciate the park's potential and the ongoing renovations, though there are concerns about high grass, ant infestations, and restroom cleanliness. Overall, guests enjoyed their stay and plan to return, particularly for the scenic views and the welcoming environment.

We go here for fishing with friends for 2 weeks each year and the park has always been clean and the Park host has always been friendly and helpful. Not to mention all the good fish we caught.

We had a great weekend. We were a little bummed that we couldn't have a fire, but that was okay. The park is a little noisy, where it is located, and our space next to the bridge, although scenic, was a little louder than I like when camping. The restrooms were clean, people were friendly and relaxed. If I had it to do over, I'd camp farther from the road, but overall it was a good experience.

Nice small park . Unfortunately the tree trimmer were working all weekend trimming the trees while we were there .. Nice big Pecan trees made a lot of shade for us .. Easy in and easy out park .. Wish there were not as much ( stumps / sticks ) in the water in front of the park , That was due to some previous storms a few weeks before .. Nice flat campsite to park in . We had a 34 ft motor home and a 32 ft 5th wheel . no problem getting around

We love to camp here and have camped here many times in the past 10 years. The campsites are well maintained. I only gave 4 stars because the bathroom facilities are not maintained over the weekend. The weekend was muddy. By the end of the weekend the floors were very muddy and the tp supply had dwindled. There isn’t any soap or towels supplied in the bathrooms. I usually bring a bottle of hand soap and leave it in the bathroom for all to use. The shower on one side didn’t have hot water but the other side did. The toilets leak and the septic tank bans up thru the drain when it has been raining. But in spite of all that we love to camp here. The sites are large with plenty of room between sites.

Park was great . The people at the gate were great. We had a reservation and it was paid for. we check in and somehow it disappeared . I was asked to repay and refused till I saw a refund. The attendant understood. The issue with that is it left my space available on the internet. The day after we checked in I got note n the camper and went and paid because I had seen my refund. This is something your internet or website specialist needs to get taken care of.
